This yearly Workshop is produced by a group of Al-Anon Family Group (AFG) volunteers. As a committee, we are a combination of AFG groups. The planning committee changes from year to year but there are a few who "keep coming back." As AFG members, we follow the 12 Steps, Traditions, and Concepts of Service of Al-Anon. 

​Every year since 1989, Al-Anon Adult Children in Illinois have hosted a weekend Workshop and Festival to aid in our recovery. With the aid of technology, the Committee has expanded to include those who wish to participate in planning the Workshop out of the Illinois area.

This Workshop is intended to be an ACAFG recovery weekend for all Adult Children and the people who love them. This includes all Al-Anon members and anyone else in recovery from the effects of growing up or living in an alcoholic home. Each year, recovery friends come from all over the country to participate and reconnect during this weekend event.
